Have a Vestwell 401(k) plan and need to void one or more paychecks? It’s important to note the timing of exactly when you voided the check to determine if you need to take any additional action in your 401(k) plan.

Patriot will send your payroll data to Vestwell one day before the pay date, including weekends. As long as you have voided your check(s) before one day before the pay date, the voided check(s) will not be included in the payroll data that we send to Vestwell. No further action is required since Vestwell does not know about the voided check(s).

If you run an additional payroll to correct the checks prior to the day before the pay date, the corrected checks will be included in the data sent to Vestwell.
