Video shows how Partners have the option to co-brand the software by uploading their own logo and using a neutral color scheme. Their clients can also use a non-branded website when they log in.
What co-branding does
Co-branding lets Patriot Software Partners show their own company logo to clients instead of the Patriot logo. When you add your clients, they will see your logo in the top-left corner of each page. Co-branding is a free option for Partners.
The co-branded service is still "powered by Patriot Software." If your clients have Full-Service Payroll, Patriot Software is the Reporting Agent and will collect, deposit, and file your clients' payroll taxes. All banking transactions show Patriot Software, per banking guidelines.
How to co-brand your software
To co-brand your software, you'll need to be in your firm's partner account. Then:
Go to Partners > Partner Program > Co-brand Your Software.
Check the box Co-brand your software.
Upload your company logo. There is a 4MB file size limit.
Your logo displays on a neutral light background. We recommend a darker logo on a transparent background. The file can be a .png or .jpg. Your logo replaces Patriot's logo in the top-left corner of each page.
To make sure Patriot only communicates with you, the Partner, and not your clients, enter your own email address and phone number when you add your company contact information.
Where your clients and their employees log in
Your clients log in at www.approvepayroll.com.
If you want your clients and their employees to receive emails from the co-branded domain, make sure you and your clients are logged in at approvepayroll.com.
The employee portal site is www.payrolltime.com.
Employees can download the free employee app, My Patriot, from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Because of app store restrictions, this app cannot be co-branded.
Marketing materials for co-branded partners
Patriot provides marketing materials you can use to advertise your services to your clients. Each item below is available as a downloadable PDF, and most come in two versions: one with an image and one without.
To use a marketing PDF:
Open the PDF you want from the list below.
Right-click and choose Save As to download the PDF.
Email the PDF as an attachment, or print and mail it to your clients.

HR Software – To offer HR Software that helps your clients manage HR employee tasks and assist with compliance. This DIY solution lets clients create handbooks, access documents and templates, look up compliance answers, and keep paperless files.
Premium Accounting – To offer accounting software to your clients. Accounting Premium lets your clients add you as a user so you can check their entries. Clients can enter transactions in cash-basis accounting, and you can pull reports in accrual basis.
Retirement Benefits – To share when talking with clients about offering a 401(k) to their employees. Provided by Patriot's partner, Vestwell, and integrated with Patriot's payroll.
