Most standard ACH employee direct deposits are free of charge.
Please note that the fees listed below are not typical charges for regular account activity.
These fees only apply when there is incorrect account information, insufficient funds, or when additional action is needed to help ensure a payroll file is processed by the requested pay date.
If a collection failure occurs, the applicable fee will be charged to your credit card at that time. Because NSF and correction requests, and deposit failure fees are charged by the bank, we are unfortunately unable to refund them.
Direct Deposit Fee Schedule

Correction Request | Assessed when your employee or contractor’s bank account sends a Notice of Change due to incorrect account information. | $7.50 |
Credit Return | Assessed when payroll is unable to be deposited into an employee or contractor’s bank account. | $10.00 |
Wire Transfer – Incoming Domestic | Assessed when money must be wired to Patriot to fund a payroll. | $15.00 per bank wire sent to Patriot |
Instant Payments using the Real-Time Payment Network | Assessed when money is sent to Patriot fund a payroll. | $5 per instant payment sent to Patriot |
