View Patriot Invoice Charges to Your Credit Card

Learn how to view your invoices charged by Patriot to your credit card.

Patriot will charge your credit or debit card on a monthly basis for the software you use each month. Your monthly charge will automatically hit your card on the 1st day of the month, covering the prior month's service.

Where can I find my software invoices?

Invoices are paperless but can be downloaded anytime. To see your monthly software charges from Patriot Software:

  1. Go to: Settings > Account Activity > View Billing Activity

  2. Change the date range if needed

    • By default, the report shows transactions from the last 90 days through the next 7 days.

  3. Click “Run Report.”

  4. Sort your results:

    • Click the arrow beside any column header to sort by that column.

    • Click again to reverse the order (ascending/descending).

  5. View Transaction Details:

    • Each Transaction ID in the first column is a clickable link. Select the Transaction ID to open details for that charge.

    • You can save or print the PDF.

If you do not see the "View Billing Activity" option, verify that you are signed in with the correct credentials and have the necessary permissions.

Why was my credit card charged after I canceled?

Patriot bills in arrears, which means you use the software first and then pay for it afterward.

Here’s how it works:

  • At the start of each month, Patriot reviews your account activity from the previous month.

  • We calculate how many days your software was active and, if applicable, how many employees you paid.

  • An invoice is then created, and your credit card is charged.

Example: A February 1 invoice covers your software use from January 1–31.

So, if you canceled in January, you’ll still see a final charge in February for the time you used the software before canceling.

What happens if my payment method fails?

If your payment method fails, you may experience interruptions in service. Update your payment details promptly to avoid any issues. See How to Update Your Credit Card for more information.
